Master Workshop

Small-group, hands-on sessions with artists and mentors—focusing on technique, mindset, and process with thoughtful feedback. Our inaugural mentor, Chinese artist Wang Jinsong (b. 1963, Heilongjiang), brings deep expertise across media—from Cynical Realism oil painting and conceptual photography to evocative ink works. A graduate of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, Wang gained prominence in the 1980s and 90s by critically engaging with social change in China. His work, which is included in major collections like SFMOMA, Ludwig Museum (Cologne), and ICP, offers a rare blend of historical insight and experimental edge—perfect for emboldening emerging creatives.
